My History

The story of a hobby turning into a professional career.

August 1997

My career in broadcasting began in Şanlıurfa.

I started radio broadcasting as a hobby at the age of 14 and for about 10 years, I hosted various radio programs and voiced hundreds of radio commercials. Additionally, I worked as a commercial script writer and advertising coordinator.
March 2009

I started presenting the main news bulletin on a satellite channel.

News anchoring was one of the things I wanted to experience during that period. However, I didn't find it very fulfilling to speak for 30 seconds and wait for 3-5 minutes for the news video to finish. After a while of presenting, I decided that it wasn't an area I wanted to advance in.

I started hosting the Prime Time News bulletin on a satellite channel.

News anchoring was one of the things I wanted to experience at that time. However, I didn't find it fulfilling to speak for 30 seconds and then wait for 3-5 minutes for the news video footage to finish. After hosting for a while, I decided that it wasn't the career path I wanted to pursue further.
September 2014

I started working at Tarım TV and pursued a Ph.D. at Gazi University's Department of Communication.

At that time, I was working as an Agricultural Engineer at the GAP Research Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture, in Şanlıurfa, while pursuing a Ph.D. in Agriculture at Harran University. However, I wasn't satisfied with either of these roles. It was time for a change, and through my efforts, I managed to transfer to Tarım TV, which was under the Ministry of Agriculture in Ankara. Simultaneously, I was accepted into the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Gazi University's Faculty of Communication for my Ph.D. It was quite unusual for someone with an agricultural engineering background to be accepted into a communication program at Gazi University, and although the professors found it a bit strange at first, they soon realized that what was truly unusual was my transition from being an agricultural engineer. Now, I was in a place where I loved both my academic and professional life.

February 2019

I resigned from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Within 3 years, my work in the field of voice over transcended boundaries, and I became someone who worked with major agencies abroad and voiced the promotional films and commercials of famous brands. I no longer wanted to lead a divided life. I wanted to focus solely on doing the work I loved and dedicate myself entirely to voice over projects. On February 14, 2019, I made the decision to put an end to my 9-year civil service career and resigned from the Ministry. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was the best decision I ever made in my life. Because now, I was free.

January 2016

I started working with agencies in the field of voice over..

Until that date, I had been involved in radio hosting, broadcasting, presenting, and voice over work, but the one that I loved the most and turned into a passion was voice over. I transformed the sporadic voice over work that had always been a part of my life into a more organized second job. During the day, I would go to work, and in the evenings, I would do voice over work in my small one-square-meter recording studio at home. In a short time, I started working with many agencies. Meanwhile, I was also taking new training courses related to my field. I was delving into the intricacies of the job.
